On another note, just a few comments to the BB coverage on our SMB Reunion. Well, not to create a havoc, just stating out what's in my mind. Hehe. We joke, we chat, we hooked up, we lepak, we ate, we play game, and macam macam lagi.
Waw.....Ah-Lail!....what a night!!....I told you its gona be fun. What more can i say? Just look at the picture. How you wish that you were there right....eseh heheh.

As expected, lots of people turned up to the event. Probably because it was still the raya festive. Perfect timing lah kali. Some of us actually did call me regarding what to wear. I just told them just wear the SMB school uniform. White shirt along with dark blue long t. hehe.....you know who you are.

The event started around 8pm ish and end up till 4am in the morning...Yang hard core saja tinggal sudah beyond 12am. Rauley turned up as a "director" i think. Cool hat and fancy leather jacket. I would say the best dress for that night, respect bro. Second, the HK actor aka Colin hehe. Man.....stylish eh...baru nya. But most people dress up with their normal cara melayu, baju kurung, t-shirt, jeans, etc...i'm talking about me plng tu hehe. It was cool. As i said in the earlier post, informal but serius hehe.

The food especially the chicken pie....nyaman berabis!!. Antah berapa round ka aku makan ah. Thankz to Sonny and family for the food and their hospitality.

I bet the highlight of that night was the autograph session on the official reunion poster. If you haven't see one i suggest you to look at the picture once again hehe. It was almost in every picture tu hehe. Not to forget the "class map" arrangement exercise. Really it gave a good challenge on how well our memory is hehe. Hal maklum, ketuahan udah hehe.

The twister game was one heck of fun. Cuba kamu liat gambar the one especially with Brenden and Sufri .....bahapa kan tu hehe. Keep up it dudes

Hope the reunion repercussion would create a social network that would last forever. 10 is a big number. Student life only come once in a life time. And its worth to be remembered and celebrated. Form 5 was amazing, but the reunion night was even much better. Hope more people will turn up for next party.

Lastly, i would like to thank you to everybody who turned up to the events, especially to all who were involved in making this event successful. Respect and peace!

Just to blend myself into the excitement of this reunion. Rather than posting on the wall, I would hereby give a few suggestions:

Those who are well-equipped with their snappy snap super duper cool camera preferably SLR, please donate your skill and pause a pose for the posers..haha u know what I mean.
Organisers, I suggest you create a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig nice modern cool blank poster for the gangs (with their 'spouses') to scribble a word or two. Those with creative minds, please help. Hehe.
Can the ambience be a combination of cozy and relaxing? So that I can sleep peacefully. Haha. JK.
Organizers, please wear something similar so that we know who to worship for such effort. *winks*
No offence but, can we request an outdoor area for smokers?
Can we play indoor boardgames? Hehehe
Got any pingpong table?

Eh, what the crap am I suggesting here. But I'm pretty serious about nos. 1 and 2 though.

This is not completed ah. Sama inda semua ni. But so far i managed to get at least 25 people who definitly are comming. Good newz kan?. Anyway, we still have 6 days to go. Still have enuff time to cascade others. So anyone who got their no, do what you gota to ok. Hope by letting you know the attendance would persuade the tentative or ragu-ragu one hehe.

Regarding FOOD, it will be prepared by Sonny et al as per planned. But feel free to bring your on ok. I think this will be better. Tapi, gitau lah awal c Sonny...sanang jua dikit to estimate berapa banyak kan di masak.

Another Good News, Rosnah just safely devlivered a baby on 20th Oct. Girl or boy inda ku tau. Got the news from Ezan. So, congratz Rosnah, betambah jua lagi family SMB ni hehe.

It is good that SMB has its own website now. Don't know who is the web owner, is it MOE or SMB staff?. I did have a quick looked to it for a moment just now. It got the basic set-up sudah, nice back ground color, and very simple. But it doesn't has the detail information on every site link. May be it is still new or may be in the process. Hope to see more picture (especially old pic, eg. class photo?) on the HISTORY section. Staff info, regarding their full name, position, former shcool/uni. This could be very useful.

Mine if im not mitaken would be T22?, and the rascles next to me would be Ashadil (T23), Amminne (T21), Az (T32)?, and couldn't remember who in T12, Dijah?. Darn!! My memory is bad.

10th Years Anniversary

Can you believe it? It's already 10 years. Felt like yesterday huh that blue trousers, white shirt, badge, morning assembly etc etc. They are all still fresh in my mind. Well, i leave just few mins away from the school, that doesn't help huh...hehe.

But anyway, cut the story short. The question that might be pondering in you mind now is, WHY SHOULD I COME? The answer that i could think off is, it's our 10th years anniversary!!. Every tenth whether its 10th, 20th, 30th is equaly important and a must to be celebrated. It is the time to get together!. See how everybody is doing? What are they upto, whereto, what, when, who, with who, do, did, that this. Everything about you cause we care (busybody lah tu hehe). So this is the time for you to inform your OLD classmate about yourself. There is more good reasons to attend than not to. So bring you bf/gf/wife/kids along.....i see all of you there ok. Take care.

Where and What in Sekolah Menengah Berakas (SMB)

Hellew SMBers,

Itz been awhile since i post a line here. Anyway, as most of you know that the SMB field is buzy under construction. Well you can see it right from the roadside. Have you ever wonder how it looks like before....crazy. Some people call it a mini "Golf Course" where you can see a similarity there, bunker, pool, green etc hehe. Anyway, check the above picture of SMB area. To my surprised, its pretty big huh. During our time, we didint have all those HSBC, Teguh Raya etc around it. But we had Kamar Store tough. Thats about it i think....we always went there at lunch time right before extra-class hehe.

So back to the main topic, here are some of the list of things we have ......

SMB.....
1- Old Hall. They can fit the whole students there. Macam Sardin yooooo hahaha.
2- Toilet, here a number of students were caught right-handed while smoking hehe. You know who you are hehe.
3- Science Block, where all the labs are...Physic, Chemistry, Biology.
4- ClassRoomzzz, here where it all happened hehe. You name it!!
5- Football field, now under construction. I think they makin' sort of like an arena. Waw!!
6- Teacher Staff Room, every morning asembly d sini lah. I remembered Sonny, Amminne, and Colin were amongst the regular students yang selalu tolong preparing the school PA system hehe.
7- You know this...the KANTIN babeh yeaaah
8- New Hall, kami yang buka resmi hehe. Officially opened in 1997. I think?
9- Old Staff Room, got few labs and class room there. During our time, the classroom aint got electricity man. Can you imagine?
10- The SMB Jungle Block, i only been there once, together with Mr. Armstrong, our geography teacher. He brought the whole class there just to study the recent work on the effect of wethering...hayaaa

So hope this will refresh you mind bout SMB. Will update this soon.

Battle of the Superheroes!

On behalf of Ahmy Kristomo, I would like to invite SMB Sc1 & Sc2 batch 96/97 to an informal gathering:

Venue: Ahmy's crib
Date: 11th August 2007 (Saturday)
Time: Evening til late

He came up with a theme "superheroes" so I guess we're advised to dress up as superheroes. *lol* He'll be serving finger foods and BBQed foods as well. All made by himself *yuck?* (sorry, jk! ha). You're invited with your respective spouses. A pole dancing will be provided by the host. Dancers are imported from Thai and Korea. Strippers from Indon and East Timor will be there as well. From what I've heard, strip poker game will be played by men only. Women's role during that game is to undress the men. He will also provide tons of cans of beers for us to get drunk. Also available is karaoke session where singers have to sing lagu wajib which is "Pencinta Wanita" (haha) and one song chosen by each singer.

Winner of strip poker gets to spend one night with the host. So take the challenge dear men! The host is, erm, HOT? *lol*

Narrator

Alpha’s second wish had been granted. He is happy now that he can look more gorgeous and cooler than Romeo.

Hello!! Ya..Well I want a loan of your most famous designer! Yap! That is if you don’t mind. Ok then, thanks, bye!!

(Fashion Designers arrived after FGM hung up. Sambil membawa perkakas)

Yuck!! How gross!! Young man, your sense of style is totally outdated!!

SCENE 2

Narrator

So with Julia in his hand, the new Alpha arrived at a restaurant and have a candle light dinner. Julia looked bored

(They somehow manage to have a good conversation. FGM ada duduk nearby untuk mengawasi)

Narrator

Alpha has asked Julia for a dance. However Julia Has resisted. So Alpha danced alone. Alpha danced as of he has two left feet. No wonder Julia resisted. He definitely looked awful.

(While Alpha mencari gugur tia walletnya. Julia saw it and checked it out. Sound effect; wooo… when Julia saw the money ia pun mengambang)

Alpha

The night is still young baby, let’s dance..

(At that time Romeo ada disana jua, observing Alpha)

Narrator

Then comes the ordered food. (Meanwhile Alpha’s mobile started to ring). While Alpha talked on the phone, Julia ate the food greedily without any hesitation.

It was Romeo who called Alpha. He called to warn Alpha that Julia was a ‘no-good’ and that she is very materialistic.

(Upon hearing this, Alpha gasped)

Alpha was so shocked at the news he just heard. Unfortunately at the same moment, poor Julia choked on her food, and sadly she kicked the bucket.

(Pinggan pun pecah)

Alpha is now double shocked!!!

SCENE 3

Narrator

Meanwhile let’s look at another side of our so-called FANTASY story.

The restaurant where the ill-fated Julia passed away was owned by a wicked lady named Veronica.

She has a step-daughter who she dislikes very much, and she is our lovely Isabella.

Veronica

(was writing when she heard the plate broke)

OK!! What has happened now?!! (appearing angrier this time). Isabella!! What have you done this time?!!!

Isabella buat muka takut

Veronica

Don’t give me that look young lady!!!

Isabella

(jittering) She..she..she..

Veronica

She what??? (very marah and angry voice)

Isabella

(pointing to the dead Julia) She choked on her food and broke her plate.

Veronica

Well, don’t just stand there. Go over and pick it up. QUICK!!!

(Isabella went over to Alpha’s table to clear up the mess. They noticed each other. She continued cleaning up, while Alpha checked her out)

Narrator

Well viewers, looks like cupid has shot his arrow right through them both. Veronica the wicked stepmother noticed what was going on, and she definitely is not too happy about the whole situation

Alpha

(talking to himself) WOW!! I wonder who this pretty girl is?

Isabella

(talking to herself) Hotshots!! This is not too bad himself. Terpikat ku. Chunlah!

(meanwhile si Romeo pun terserempaklah si Isabella dan dia pun terpikat jua)

Romeo

(talking to himself) I want that girl

Veronica

(talking to herself while looking at Alpha) Eh! I berkenanlah budak tu. Ada harapan ni boleh jadikan bapa baru si Isabella

Narrator

Dear audience, what we have here is one big love triangle, or shall I say, love square. I should let you all in the fact that Veronica is not only a wicked step-mother, but she is also a wicked witch!

One thing we all know, Veronica is very unhappy to notice that Alpha and Isabella actually liked each other. Secretly she took out her magic spell book and whipped up a love potion for Alpha.

(Veronica pun membuat aksi. i.e. doing her potion experiment on stage)

Veronica

(tipu-tipu baik dengan stepdaughternya) Aduhai anakku saying..marilah bawa kawan mu atu kesini. Mummy sudah ada sediakan. (to Alpha) hah..siapa nama mu ani wang?

Alpha

Alpha..auntie.

Veronica

Ih! Macam nama kerita Alfa-Romeo atu! Lawa jua. Bah! Minum tah..ikhlas ni dari auntie,compliments of the house.

Pizza deliver membawa pizza masuk

Veronica

Nah!! Makantah pizza yang auntie belanja ani. Ikhlas tau!

After finish eating the pizza both Isabella and Alpha pun pengsan dan mati

Narrator

Well viewers, what an unfortunate way to end our story. But hey that’s fate. We all don’t know what is in the store for us around the corner. Seeing that neither has partners, Veronica and Romeo found love in each other. I can happily end this story by saying that “they live happily ever after”. Just like in the fairy tales….

I haven't got the time to scan/upload any pics at the moment. I cant find my scanner's CD driver! However, I would like to wish everyone (I know it is still not too late) a blissful Syawal and prayed that your fastings during the Ramadhan di terima Allah. Amiiin...

I miss Ramadhan and hope that I can meet Ramadhan again next year.

Siapa ni?. Yeap...you damn rite buddy...he is our beloved Biology teacher (masa atu teaching practice hehe) ....Mr Enchik Bapak Tuan Maulana Cigu ZAMBRI. The pictures on the right side were taken during his graduation..so about the same time during year 97. Waktu muda muda dulu hehe. The left one is the latest one lah....siap pigang anak yg bungsuuuuu. He's now got 3 lovely kids...satu koboi and dua puteri. I did ask him which school hes teaching now...but cant remember where...angan angan ku time atu meliat bula d tv hehe.

Anyway, i bumb into him last Sunday during his open house d Lambak. He's still more or less looked similar as before...apa nya urang maintain. Compare saja gambar d atas ah....masih lagi dengan baby face nya hehe...jan marah cigu....maaf zahir batin hehe. There is nothing much happening except that i heard ia pernah jadi cigu disiplin and GARANG...so jangan main main guyz hehe. But what ever the story is, he's still our Cigu Zambri...friendly, selalu senyum...which is good. Respect!!! Not to forget his valued contribution during our 97 biology lesson. I still remembered his plastic tube that he used to help to explain how food pass through the internal organ. Gona cheriesh those moment forever.

If anyone got old picture of his....do not hesitate to share it with us...that including you Cigu hehe.

96/97 Teachers' Day Celebration

96 was a daring year..but 97 was a more daring one!

1996. Teachers' Day celebration. The sc1 & sc2 (cute, pretty and cool) girls made a sorta choir group. We called ourselves "The Diamonds". Our very own bestfriend. After listening to what it seemed to be an endless list of songs, we finally decided to sing "Thunder" (if i'm not mistaken) by East 17 followed by "Reach" by Gloria Estefan. And ta-daaaa... Zeah was our lead singer. Wah..mcm gospel lah! *lol*

Sherina, being such a doll, offered her place for our practice almost every end of the day (schooldays lah). Uhh uhh..and we decided to wear whitish cream tops and black bottoms. Hehe. Hmm..we're kinda organized. Weren't we?

Then came the day. The boys were in charge of the logistics including the PA system (since they were so used to it, i.e. prepare for assemblies..hahahahaha) AND THE "SUPPOSEDLY" WELL SUPPORTED BACKGROUND. Urgh! The celebration was held in our assembly area. Somehow, no, unfortunately I mean, due to an uninvited windy condition, the background fell towards us when it was our turn to perform! How embarrasing. But nevertheless, it was kinda funny. *LOL* We, the front row girls, were so curious as to why the audience gave us that "oh-no" look. Damn! So much for the WELL supported background. Luckily I was at the far end of the front row. Being courageous, we continued our performance despite the horror. After we ended our singing and left the so-called stage, we went to the library and wanted an explaination from the logistic guys. Oh well. We had quite a quarrel there. I couldn't actually remember how it ended.

1997. A bit matured.

Sc 1 & Sc 2 once again combined their super powers to organise the 1997 Teachers' Day celebration. This time it was superb. I heard that from many of our juniors and of course, our batch. And the teachers too. Cool. It was held at the new SMB's hall. The Sc1 peeps made a play. Az was the scriptwriter as well as the director. Wah, puan direktor rupanya. I took the "fashion designer" role with Hjh Suzie. Siti played as so-called cinderella. Oh my it was quite a play. There's even a scene where there came the men & women in black. It was the year when the movie "Men In Black" was famous. It was played by Chico, Amminne, Yati & Colin. Rosnah played as the evil stepmother whose daughter was played by Umi. Dijah was the pizza delivery girl. Karla was the narrator. Sonny, hmmm, I think he was Alex's bestfriend. Alex was the king/hero kan? Help me here. I'll try to find the script and will post it here sometime in the (near) future.

Anyways, before all the stage performances were conducted, the teachers were required to assemble at the assembly area, and the students were the "teachers". The teachers who played as students did well acting as students attending a morning assembly. It was well organised. Then they proceed to the hall where all the entertainment was. There was also a live band, if Im not mistaken they were called "The Oneders". I couldn't quite remember the rest of the performances. I think there was another choir. By the juniors, not us. And yes, nothing bad happened. Hahahaha.

Back to our "common room". We chit chatted about our success organisation. We talked with the cool teachers as well. Took lots of pictures. Too bad it wasn't the digital camera era yet. That is why I didn't have much pictures posted here. Im so lazy to scan bah.

Later that night (I think), the sc1 (gorgeous) students organised a dinner for our teachers at Dk Umi's restaurant in Gadong. It was another memorable one. We had fun. We played "passing parcels", we dance, we laughed, we talked, to sum up, it was fun! All of it.

Our aim to make one of the most remembered Teachers' Day celebration in SMB came true. I've met Cg Hjh Fatimah sometime last month and she mentioned about the 1997 celebration. Im flattered when she said she was actually very well entertained. Im proud of our effort. And I miss those days.

See..how wonderful the memories are. Good enough to make us laugh. Out loud. If not a laughter, even a smile would do.

The "Futsal" of SMB

I'm pretty sure some of you remember this (especially the guyz). Back at the old days, SMB has been a "theatre of dream" to play the real football (not to mention other sports like main "Pasang" as what the gals always did hehe). Most boyz during the lunch time/any time-break played this so call "Futsal" or should i address it as "Bula Kutin". Its a must for everyone to participate. Once "lasut" (go between your legs) you will be in big trouble. Kana raungkup bah....kepisan hehe.

Anyway, the story that i wanted to highlight is the one which involving three mischievous kids (Ruzaiman, Jali and myself, walaupun rawk.... tapi baik, hensem, peramah..etc hahha) with our beloved Biology teacher, Mr Jeffry. It happened one of those days right after the lunch brake....we were playing kan when suddnely Mr Jeffry came out of no where (well..inda dapat di harap "baywatch" kami atu...langsung nada signal or warning bah) and caught us right-handed. We ran for our life....fuh selamat. We lost him...laju kali ah kami atu belusir. Then when he's gone...we play back AGAIN right outside our classroom (matingal nya urang) when out of the blue...loud noise Tingg....paakkk...duukkk....a black Tong Sampah were flying from our back ....we were shock to death to see Mr Jeffry (from no where ...again ...handal ia ani.....ada ilmu ilang kali) marah marah, "Inda kamu merati kah?".... damn we ran as fast as we could towards the Jamban lama next to the old hall. We stay there for God only knows for how long. No regrets...we have fun....hehe. So everytime we see Mr Jeffry especially during the Chinese New year...we always talked about this day.....yeaaah

Those Good old days guys...its just the good old days.

The one where the girl went into our class

The usual English period before we call it a day..

..with Mr Wilson as our English teacher..

Every single teacher of Sc1 96/97 has their own character. So does Mr Wilson. He has the fun(ny) character which I think I don't have to mention it here.

Just a quick recap, the classroom we used was shared with the afternoon session students, the form 1 students, I think. So anyways, just abt 15-20 mins before the bell rang, all of sudden, this afternoon session student went into our class and sat down as if she was one of our classmates!!

Everyone kept quiet. I mean, what were we to do and what were we to say? It was an absolute quiet moment. A few seconds later then she walked out w/o saying a single word. Not even looking at us. It was so hilarious. We couldn't help but laughed out loud the moment she wasn't there.

I'm sorry girl. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings but, IT WAS FUNNY!

I would like to welcome everyone especially to my dear SMB gangs. This is a joint-effort by myself, Siti, Amir, Erne & Amminne as result of our informal discussion during our sungkai yesterday (9th Oct 2006) at Rizqun Int.

On behalf of the team, I hope to gather as many of you, dear SMB gangs, to kindly provide your updates or any memories for sharing purposes. I also would love to welcome any pictorial submissions preferably our late 90s memory in Sekolah Menengah Berakas.
